How UAE Gratuity is Calculated
Less than 1 year: No gratuity entitlement.
1–5 years: 21 calendar days' basic salary per year of service.
More than 5 years: 30 calendar days' basic salary per year beyond 5 years, plus 21 days/year for the first 5 years.
* Maximum gratuity is capped at 2 years' total basic salary. Calculation is based on last drawn basic salary only (not allowances).
